Step in to discover a traditional pub of unique character, formerly part of the Portman Estate dating back to 1850, it is said that part of the floor of the Abbot of Montacutes, East Chinnock house is under the paddock and every possibility of a Roman floor under it.

The Portman Arms is located in the quite, picturesque and tranquil village of East Chinnock, Somerset, approximately 5 miles from the Yeovil town centre on the A30 between Yeovil and Crewkerne. We are committed to providing our customers with a relaxing and comfortable environment and good honest homemade food.
